I’m Pooja, a girl in her 20s & a wanderlust who can’t seem to sit still in one place for far too long. This isn’t my full-time job, rather a hobby that I’m insanely passionate about. I write, take photos, travel, find the best coffee shops, and use my voice as a platform to raise awareness.
So, you may be wondering, how did a girl from New Jersey wind up here?
Well first, my love for travel started because of my parents. They have instilled a love for travel in my siblings & I from an early age. What began as small family trips turned into a wide array of worldwide adventures. From snowball fights on top of Mount Titlis to watching the Eiffel Tower light up at night, chasing sunsets along the beaches of Turks and Caicos to getting lost in the tiny towns of Positano, consuming endless amounts of gelato throughout Italy to snorkeling along the Na Pali Coast, and watching the sun rise from the top of Haleakala; the lessons I’ve learned, the memories I’ve made, and the experiences I’ve had are all unforgettable.
Second, it’s not about where you’re from or where you’re going, it’s about what you do & learn when you get there. And so, that’s how I winded up here; to share with you all what I’ve learned along the way.
After all, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport.
This site reveals my adventures from around the world, all while getting lost in the culture of the people. Locals inspire me, and I’m hoping they inspire you too. I like to think I can make a difference one country at a time by raising awareness of various social causes that affect the countries that I travel to, while remaining true and authentic to myself and providing my readers with a raw, unfiltered take on the world.
Nothing in life is ever a constant, but I’m hoping this virtual space of mine is something will always remain with me & grow alongside me through time.
